Get ready, San Francisco! The city is about to be electrified as it transforms into a pulsating epicenter of electronic dance music to ring in the new year!
Get ready for a massive dose of beats as the legendary Swedish House Mafia, the European supergroup featuring EDM titans Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso, is set to take over Pier 80 for two epic concerts. Mark your calendars for Monday, December 29th, and Wednesday, December 31st, because you won't want to miss this!
These guys are HUGE. Considered pioneers of mainstream progressive house music, Swedish House Mafia is often credited with fueling the EDM explosion of the early 2010s. They dominated the scene, but then, in 2012, they went their separate ways to pursue solo projects. But the story doesn't end there! In 2018, they reunited at the Ultra Music Festival, and three years later, they dropped their album "Paradise Again."
But that's not all! The Swedish House Mafia shows are just a part of the electrifying EDM lineup scheduled for the Bay Area around New Year's Eve.
On Saturday, December 27th, the fabulous RuPaul, a drag artist and TV personality, will be delivering a DJ set at the nearby Midway. And between the Swedish House Mafia performances, on Tuesday, December 30th, you can catch San Francisco native Skrillex and Four Tet at Pier 80.
